The disentanglement of genetic aspects of fertility, (pre implantation) embryo development and early gestation in order to improve diagnostics, prognosis and treatment of the diseases involved. Moreover research is carried out to analyse the psychosocial impact of this approach for the patients involved. In the developmental disorders the effects of genomic imprinting in the Beckwith Wiedemann syndrome are studied. For these research questions a micro array is developed for the detection of subtelomeric chromosome aberrations.
