Marcela is a PhD candidate in ASCLEPIOS H2020 Project (Trusted digital solutions and Cybersecurity in Health and Care). She has a Master degree in Electrical and Telecommunications Engineering from the Graduate Program in Electrical and Telecommunications Engineering (PPGEET/UFF) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She graduated in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universidade Federal Fluminense in 2017 and participated in a student exchange program with the University of Florida, USA. In her PhD, she will research data encryption usage for securing and sharing healthcare and research data.
