Research interests

Lihui Guo works with Prof. Rene Lutter (Group Leader, now who is Jan Willem W.Duitman) in Lung Group at Dept. of Experimental Immunology, Amsterdam UMC.

Research on the role of IDO on tuberculosis via using cell line in vitro, murine model, zebrafish, and IHC for lung and brain from TB patients. protects M. tub from first-line antibiotics in macrophages. In addition, I am also really interested in pathology, mainly on Neutrophil extracellular traps-NETs, and metabolic stress in COVID-19.
