Research interests

Research has focused on optimizing quality of care in the rehabilitation care pathways: neurological rehabilitation and children rehabilitation.Within the research area ‘neurological rehabilitation’ prognosis and intervention studies have been performed in patients with neuromuscular and neurological diseases (focus on Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis  and Stroke). Within the area ‘children rehabilitation’ research has focussed on early intervention in preterm born infants, prognosis and intervention studies in children with developmental disabilities.
